Absolutely beautiful house with the best facilities of any we’ve stayed in! We stayed two nights with three people in late June at this location. It is an old water mill (i.e., really thick old walls), converted into a vacation home, with a very unique interior design using old water mill equipment, next to a river, adjacent to a hundreds of years old bridge. A very charming and spacious location for us, fully equipped, and for us a perfect location to explore this part of the Douro river. We wanted a more "isolated" place not directly in the Douro valley, and this is exactly what we got. Thanks to the host for the perfect check-in and support, and the additional background info about this unique place. Would we come back? For sure.

The house is lovely with a great view of the river and train. We didn't expect it to be so beautiful and modern. Very clean with everything you need for cooking and barbecue. There are tangerines growing on the property that you can eat straight from the tree! There is a canoe and lots of places to relax. There is a small village nearby. Breakfast was lovely: juice from oranges from the garden and lots of different local food - cheese, meat, eggs and more.
This is a nice villa with a swimming pool, a magnificent view on the river and the surrounding hills, It has four rooms with a shared kitchen, living room and other facilities. It was recently innovated.

Amazing and strong view of Douro River. Peaceful place. Fantastic 2 floor villa. Much better, with prettier instalations, more confortable and much more beautiful than the photographs we saw. The team was very kind. Nice breakfast served at the Villa. The experience exceed all the expectations we could have. The best shower we tried. And the cooler balance toy of our lifes. Wonderful stay in a villa dating back to the 18th century, situated right on the Douro river. You get a feeling of exclusivity here. Dining with a view of the river and the vineyards. Can be reached in a few minutes from Ermida station via a bizarre route right along the railway line. You'll feel like you're stepping back in time a century. Friendly staff who genuinely try to make you feel at home. And of course the beautiful swimming pool! We will definitely come back here.
This place is a real gem! A veritable villa, directly by the river, with park/pool/tennis court - not every day experience for us. On top the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate and feed us - we felt spoiled. We really fell in love with the gorgeous landscape in general and specifically on the property: don’t miss to visit their own waterfall!
This is a truly magical place. The hosts Yan and David are super welcoming and warm, the breakfast is outstanding. The villa is modern and stylishly decorated, with glorious views of the river. The sunrise and sunset are absolutely stunning and the infinity pool is just so inviting. We will gladly visit again. Thank you for hosting us.
