I was at Horta da Vila during a very hot weekend. It was great being by the pool and the room A/C worked great. It was a lovely stay and the staff was awesome and very accomodating.

Lovely location to have a relaxing vacations with all the amenities one requires. Although it's a very hot area in Portugal, the house was fully equipped with several Air Conditioners which were super necessary. The hostess always left us at ease and super helpful with every detail.

Historic property in a lovely quiet setting. The village is worth wandering round with a pretty square with views of the castle. We stayed in January so there were very few guests. The staff were really lovely and breakfast was good.
Beautiful place, very peaceful. Very tiny village so not a lot to do in the immediate waking area but doesn’t matter as being in the hotel is so restful. The staff are all amazing- friendly, caring and professional.. would definitely recommend
Absolutely amazing place. A castle turned into a luxury hotel. Clean, friendly, helpful, polite. Fantastic food, morning buffet was wonderful. Sweet little village. Beautiful stop on our way thru. Would have stayed longer if time had permitted. Really hope to go back.

Beautiful and unique castle hotel in a pretty and quiet village. Everything was first class. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good and the food delicious. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable.
