Just enjoyed the area and being able to take the dogs was important for me.
Doña Maria was on hand for any queries we had and our nice neighbours helped out too!
The apartment was well equiped,modern kitchen,good shower and comfortable beds.
The restaurant nearby was handy.

Perfect location. Everything on your doorstep. Beach 2 minutes walk, main shopping area and bus stop 5 minutes away. Lovely cafe next door. Guest House very clean, excellent housekeeping. Comfortable bed, luxury bedding and modern textiles.

Alte is a quiet village,with interesting places to see the fonte, the water fall, good food at folklore, and baltasar, gypsy markets near by, .alte hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday.
This place is a gem in Alte village. We loved the style, really peaceful, comfortable room, and a wonderful pool and roof with jacuzzi. We'd love to come back.
It's a nice hotel just outside of the village (10min walk), a bit oldschool but nothing wrong with that. Nice swimming pool and a garden and patio. I did not try the restaurant downstairs
Communication was great with details sent via Whatsapp, e-mail and a phone conversation to make sure we had no problems. The villa itself was absolutely stunning and there was plenty of groceries/goods to get our holiday up and running (Thanks for the wine!).The villa itself is remote which absolutely suited us but we could drive not too far for provisions. Loved this place.
It’s a very good hotel. I couldn’t get half the quality for the same price in Lisbon. The room and bathroom was very clean, the decoration simple, tasteful and traditional, the staff was friendly. There is a great terrace on top of the building with a gorgeous view over the village and surrounding landscape. The room was dead quiet in the night, and I slept very well. The location could not have been better, and the breakfast was very good.
Instructions were very easy in order to get access into the house.

The best views ever even at night.
There a pool and sun loungers which is very good and a beautiful garden area. Set in the Algarve mountains and close to the village of Alte which offers restaurants, bars and other attractions. This place is great for cyclists and walkers.
