Really excellent get away from it all place. You can engage or retreat as much as you want. Tranquil, rural and most peaceful place to relax. Nadine is really warm and welcoming. The apartment is well furnished and kitchen well stocked. The local town has a small shop for supplies. Tomar is not far away by car as is the lake. Screen addicted, monosyllabic teens might freak at the lack of any tv’s, but be reassured there is adequate WiFi for Netflix, etc.

I wish we had stayed here longer, the place is so beautiful and peaceful! The children liked the apartment and the place a lot too. Communication with the host was very good. There is a playground with swings and a slide, the pool area is great (gated, with seats, toilet and shower), air conditioning works very well, and there is a small but plentiful grocery store within less than 10 minutes drive in the nearest village (Serra).

We enjoyed our stay very much. we loved the beautiful surroundings, the charm of the home and yard. the owners were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and lovely. The bathtub: heaven!! It was also great to have access to a full kitchen. There was a fan in the room that kept us cool in the evening and night.
