Perfect place for holiday with kids. The "monte" is larger than what l was expecting, with plenty of space for the children to go around, explore, play. Despite being large is all fenced so we felt safe in having the kids going around in their own.
The house is great and Pedro (the host) has been very kind and always making sure that was all good with our stay.
We appreciated as well the delivery of freshly picked eggs and tomatos

Wonderful little place in a cute Alentejo village. The Casa is actually a refurbished former shoemakers' workshop, with lots of exposed stone walls and the old stone table in the workshop now serving as a buffet for the delicious breakfast menu. Marta at reception is a great and attentive host, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Great stopover spot or base for a few days of explorations into the surrounding hills and villages.

Heat! I was here when it was very windy and cold so I really appreciated the heater. And the mother put flannel sheets on the bed, that was so thoughtful.
Nice quiet location on edge of village, We arrived early still on Spanish timings 🙄. But kindly booked us in probably not as easy during busy periods, lovely evening meal in the restaurant, plus good breakfast would certainly stay again

This is the most beautiful we’ve stayed in Portugal! Almodovar is a quiet and peaceful village and has enough restaurants. We stayed in the suite which is extremely affordable. Breakfast was included and very good. Ricardo was very welcoming and hospitable.

Location was fabulous. Easy walk to the village. The accommodation was quiet, rural, peaceful. There was a public holiday so we were very pleased to be able to use the kitchen facilities in the evening. Breakfast was wonderful - eggs, bread, cheese, fruit, etc.
It's a room in a villa so you have your own bathroom but all the other facilities are shared. The kitchen was well appointed and the sitting/dining area very nice and spacious. Breakfast was good. Host was friendly and lives in an adjacent building so convenient. Nice view over countryside. Excellent parking with secure gate and flat access to wheel heavy bags (a key criteria for us).
