The property is very comfortable, located in a quiet area, a few minutes walk from restaurants.
The advice about traveling by ferry to Lisbon was invaluable, we saved a lot of time and money and the walk to the port is about 10 minutes :) the ferry one way is about 1.5 euros. Atmospheric area, beautiful view of the bridge, Lisbon, near the statue of Christ.
We recommend it wholeheartedly and will be happy to come back :)

it is a gorgeous restored villa complete with a cobblestone courtyard, high interior ceilings and beautiful detail. The amenities are modern, including a very well appointed bathroom. We had a 2 room.suite which felt like home! Karina and her assistant were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

The property is in Cacilhas, a short ferry ride from downtown Lisbon and is situated in a more residential and quiet area. We wanted to stay outside the usual city centre areas and had heard good reports about the restaurants around the ferry terminal in Cacilhas. Our host Rojin and his colleague Sonia were really helpful. Sonia met us when we arrived to hand over the keys and run through the facilities in the apartment. The apartment was clean and well specced, but be careful of the sloping roof beams! They were evident in the pictures so we were not surprised by this. Everything was in place with an oven, hob and fridge with a great comfortable bed and good shower room. There was also free wifi. The restaurants and bars down the main pedestrian area were plentiful which would be able to cater for most guests food needs. We found 2 in particular that served local Portuguese dishes and the fish dishes were really well cooked and plentiful, so good we went there again! They were Restaurante Solar Beirao and Restaurante O Cacilhei. Both are at the bottom of the pedestrain street. There are many local supermarkets within a short walk of the apartment so you can easily pick up supplies without the need to travel far. Lisbon itself is not called the city of 7 hills for nothing, so come prepared with comfortable walking shoes and if walking is not your thing, there are plenty of trams, buses, metros or trains to get you about. The old trams are ok, but the queues to board can be really long and you often can't get a seat, so standing room only. If you have time it’s worth going out to the pretty town of Sintra on the train from Rossio station or if you want the beach then head to Cascais by catching the train from Cais de Sobre station, which is where the ferry from Cacilhas comes in to Lisbon. There are other beaches on the Cacilhas side of the river, reachable from the transport hub next to the Cacilhas ferry terminal, but we didn't have enough time to explore!

Villa Almada is a lovingly renovated villa, which shows that the owners have carried out the renovation with architectural knowledge and attention to detail. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the entire ambience of Villa Almada makes your stay a highlight.

Lovely old villa. Really nicely refurbished. We had the loft which was huge and comfortable (be aware it is up 3 flights of steps though). The shared kitchen was great for making and eating your own meals. Really helpful staff. We found parking impossible close by (streets are for residents, but you can unload bags opposite, and close parking lots extremely expensive) but we parked at the ferry port for €6 for 24 hours, 10-15 mins walk away. Easy to get the ferry yi Lisbon.
Almada Villa is a perfect location. In a quiet neighbourhood a short ferry ride to Alfama. Spotlessly clean, large rooms, friendly & helpful staff. If I am ever in Lisbon again I will be staying here.
Close to the historic parts of Almada and itself an historic building, the Villa was a great escape from a hectic schedule. A nearby tapas restaurant was welcoming served delicious food and wine. All in all, a wonderful experience.
With the ferry you are close to the city. The staff is amazing, very kind and helpful. Via WhatsApp easy contact. Nothing but grateful to stayed here. A gem in Lissabon.
