Cheila & Ana gave us a very warm welcome, showed us around the house, and were super friendly throughout our stay.
The donkey's - Donda & Iodo were the highlight of our week, and very frequent guests when it came to meal time - you can give them fruit and veggie peels or leftovers (they especially love watermelon, grapes & bananas).
Casa Souto itself, there is nothing it did not have, all super well equipped, from kitchen to rooms, and even the outdoors with a great heated pool. The house is surrounded by beautiful views, and the serenity of nature is priceless!
The adult bonus was the friendly TOROAS Wineyard just next door, that you can see just from the pool area. Super friendly owners, you can't miss a visit and grab some of their wine to enjoy during your stay!
Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Cabecas do Reguengo is located 5 km from Portalegre city. The unit features a wine cellar, vineyards and is sited within lush green surroundings.

It’s family run business. They have old vineyards to take care off and are doing great job. I would definitely recommend tasting/buying their wines, they are quite differrent from mainstream. Hotel is ņiva, spacious rooms, balcony. Good breakfast. But it’s all about family and their story, that’s what makes difference

The decor, wooden floors and ceilings, very comfortable accommodation, not great for the infirm or young. The same with the whole, mountain top town, absolutely gorgeous, amazing views but not for buggies, wheelchairs or walking sticks!

We wanted a quiet farm location and it didn't disappoint. Lovely hosts and a pool with a country view.
This is a genuine B&B in the owner’s house in a small village. We were received with warmth and treated as cherished guests.. The room is quite comfortable with good beds. The breakfast, too, was good. The only drawback was that there are few facilities in the village. There is supposef to be a bar, but it was closed. We found an open bar in another village which kindly prepared an in promtu meal.
Cosy and very well equipped house with all that you need for a comfortable short or long stay. We liked the comfort of the beds and the nice decoration. Close by you can buy fresh baked bread in the mornings and in the village all what you need. Next time we will go on summer so we can enjoy the nearby pool
