The family. Najla and George are amazing! It’s a great opportunity to get to know the culture first hand from a Palestinian family. Also, the food Najla cooks is delicious. They were extremely helpful and caring. If I ever come back to Bethlehem I’m definitely staying with them. I felt at home.

Great place :) Nothing was missing. Owner of the place even ordered me a taxi when I needed it. The place is ~2 km from the city center - quite far from all the tourist spots and is located in the neighborhood of local people. There is no public transport and you either have to walk or travel by taxi, which are quite expensive. But don't give in to stereotypes about Palestine and its people. The people are helpful and everyone speaks some English. Owner very quickly responds to your needs either on whatsapp or through Booking.com messages.

I was extremely impressed with the welcoming atmosphere that I received from Mr Solomon and his entire family 👪 I was assisted with all requests for information about planning a visit to Holy sites and charged a fair rate. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Plaza Apartments for its comfortable and spacious rooms, and most of all its cleanliness. The food was absolutely 💯 percent exemplary, beautiful fresh vegetables from Mr Solomon's greenhouse and an invitation from Mr Solomon to tour his wonderful verity of fresh vegetables in the greenhouse. The property met all needs for a stay in Bethlehem Center. The owner, Elias, went up and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We had an early flight and he prepared the room for us hours before the actual check-in time. Elias reached out to us via WhatsApp to inform us the room was ready and even offered to come and pick us up close to checkpoint 300 at no extra cost. I recommend Herodion Hotel.

The apartment is nice and cosy, everything looks much better in reality than in the pictures. It is very clean, you have everything that you might need (2 bathrooms, 2 rooms, kitchen, living room, bedroom with 180 cm bed, TV, internet etc), you get the feeling of staying in a Palestinian home. There is air con, which also gives hot air to warm your bedroom. Very good internet connection, hot water all the time. The owner is a very nice person, ready to help. The apartment is located about 1.3 km from the center and the Nativity chruch (15-20 minutes nice walk, taxis for 3-4 euros one way), in a quite neighborhood. We walked around during the night on Christmas and it was completely safe. Palestinean people are smiling to tourists, we enjoyed our time in Bethleem as we felt really welcomed. Bethleem is a safe destination. I travelled alone with my boyfriend, using normal buses from Jerusalem to Bethleem and return.

Best accomodation on our trip through Israel and Palestine. Everyone there is so friendly and warm, you just feel fine when you enter. Highly recommended to stay at Ma'an lil-Hayat Boutique Hotel when in Bethlehem. Five minutes to Manger Square, located right in the center. Breakfast was rich and very satisfying. The whole house and the rooms are bright and beautifully decorated. By the way, the house is an old palace. Very beautiful!

Nabil and his family treated us to an amazing night in Bethlehem! What a treasure this hotel is! You’ll be treated like family, as he’s hosting you in his family’s original home from long ago, that has since been converted into a hotel. Each room is special…thick rock walls, very traditional. Perfect location! Homemade breakfast! Nabil even found us a tour guide (Sam Salem) who we looooved so much! We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at the Dar Sitti Aziza! What a treat!
