Alan, the host was exceptional, the most kind hearted and generous person we’ve come across in our travels, he went above and beyond. We were free to roam around the property as if it were our own, the dogs were a joy as well. Highly recommend staying there, it’s far enough to be secluded but at the same time you’re just 15 minutes from the city.

Kirsten was a fabulous host. Her tips on places to eat was spot on. The room was a welcome relief from standard motels etc. Tastefully decorated, bed was super comfy, 2 heaters to keep us warm, shower had great pressure and the complimentery drinks were much appreciated. Btw, if you don't need to stay in central Dunedin and appreciate an area with some charachter, Port Chalmers is a quaint area with an eclectic mix of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
