The house was spacious and had everything you could possibly need! All appliances came with QR codes with instructions on how to use them (such as the espresso machine) made by the property owner, which was a great touch. We enjoyed meeting Michelle and it was clear that it was important to her that we were having a good stay. We didn’t get to use the kayaks or bikes because we were short on time. My only regret is not staying longer!

It was a superb location - so peaceful with wonderful views. Our host, Mark, was not there so we had the entire beautiful house to ourselves. We soaked in the jacuzzi, washed clothes, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and spread out everything we owned to get ready for a 3-day tramp in Abel Tasman. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything including Jacqui who is a great personable host!!! The room is not a box, more like an octagon shape, very well decorated, very comfortable, very well appointed with plenty of windows for natural light. It feels like home, trust me. The property is also very well landscaped, peaceful and private. Very close to town, a few minutes away by foot or vehicle.

This was our favorite stay so far on our trip! Fantastic shower, clean and tidy space, laundry, and everything you need. The location is great — you can walk to restaurants and it’s only a 20 min drive to the water taxis in Abel Tasman National Park. We wished we could have stayed here the whole trip!

Terraced Chalets was the perfect place for us to base ourselves to see this area. The chalet is comfortable and very clean. We like to cook, so we made all our meals. The facilities allowed this to work perfectly. The porch was the perfect place to eat and enjoy the view. It was the hosts who made our stay extra special. Jane was there to check us in and make sure we had everything we needed.
