Loved the locality to methven . Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Loved that it was in a quiet road and property at back of section. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the attention to detail in the accommodation.- furnishings, toiletries, perfect size for a couple. Use of spa pool was a bonus. Unfortunately no star gazing as overcast both nights we stayed.
Loved that the owners renovated the main house and have kept it for generations to enjoy

Friendly welcome typical of skiing areas. Warm and comfortable room. If you're there over summer and Mt Hotham is clear, take advantage of the alpine road to the ski village. Take it easy on the winding gravel road and you will be rewarded with spectacular views.
Karen was absolutely superb in looking after us. The chalet was brilliant. Nice and close to all of Methvens great facilities. Everywhere we went the service and friendliness of everyone in the Village was sensational. A lovely stay
Location was handy for mount Hutt, hot pools and the village.
The lodge had good facilities such as games room, pool, spa and dry room.
Breakfast was basic but fine for early start.
The staff were very friendly. We were in a 2 bedroom villa, it was spacious and well equipped. It really felt like a home, I was able to cook proper meals and there was plenty of space to store the groceries as well as a large fridge freezer.
