This place feels like in the middle of nowhere and is the perfect place for a day/night off! It feels a little strange to sleep in a glass box without any curtains (which are not necessary as there is nothing around) but when you wake up in the morning you understand why this is the case. I arrived in the dark, so I could only see the view in the morning but the night sky up there is amazing too. Nearly no light pollution and the milky way nearly jumps in your eyes. There must be beautiful sun rise/set too but it was cloudy when I was there.

1. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. 2. Though, it is 10 miles from downtown, but the driving time is only 11 minutes. so it is actually very convinient. 3. The setting of the place is beautiful and we have our own small house. From the backyard, we can see the mountains, the view is just unbelievable. 4. It is very quiet and you can even star gazing at night, which we did and this is something I have always want to do. 5. Given the surrounding, location and facility, the price is very reasonable. If we go to Wanaka again, we will definitely stay here again.

Cozy and tidy space. Enough heating so the room could be warm even 0 degree outside. With basic kitchenware and fridge, could prepare simple food by ourselves. Not too far from downtown. Wide space and nice view outside the French window. There are 2 desks so that it could be easy to use laptop. Shower water is hot enough with good pressure. The bed is very comfortable, it's not too soft.
