We were pleased to stay at Scott Base as it broke up our drive to Taupo. The ferry was later ,so we contacted Brenda and she put the electric blankets on for us as we arrived at 10.50 pm. . It was easy to find. Brenda made us a lovely breakfast complete with pancakes and berries. They were very friendly and I will recommend Scott Base to all my friends traveling to North Island.

The owners were very generous and accommodating of our every request, as we were in and out attending a National Hockey tournament which meant very early exits and late homecomings to a warm and cosy environment

I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, and the fact that there was food available to take the stress out of having to find something to eat locally. I'm sure it's appreciated by many who stay.
Hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The villa was comfortable and spacious with all the mod cons, the best mattress I’ve slept on in a long time and a brilliant shower. All the little things had been included and thought of like having toiletries, hot beverage selection and everything for us to do loads of washing. The animals were well kept and lovely to watch. Very impressed!
