If you want to experience local, rural Nepal then this place is perfect! The family you stay with are all amazing, and make the experience even more memorable! The wife cooks the best traditional Nepal food too! Mr Rama has a jeep and took us on a jungle safari and to a waterfall as well! Mr Rama is the kindest man and also provided me with lots of information on their religion and traditions! I was a solo female traveller and I highly recommend this place!

A perfect place to stay. Our host Lokraj went out of his way to make us feel welcome like family. Attending directly to all of our needs be it tours,taxis, cycle hire or cultural performances it gave us a memorable experience of Sauraha and the Chitwan region. The family is awesomely humble, kind and respectful. It's not like other hotel where you feel like a piece of meat. They are actually here to help you, provide you all you need at a local price. They should even raise their price, the service is worth much more.
There's improving the place for the customer satisfaction, building and crafting new things all the time so it looks better and feel better.
They want you to feel like you're part of the family, the rooms a big and nice, kinda glass ground so very clean, nice light,and large and comfort bed.
We did a tour in the National park with their guides, was more than expected, the guys were awesome too. They know a lot and are really experts in these domains.
So I highly recommend that you buy your tours and treks directly in the hotel, it's worth it !
I don't know the value of what all the people around will provide and the price but it will be hard to beat.
They make their own food, and also trying to improve for the costumers, feel free to share your thoughts on what can be improved or what you like, they might be able to satisfy you !

The staff was amazing and very helpful! The owner was very nice and picked me up from the bus station when I arrived and same on my departure, which was very nice.

The rhino came to the field right outside the hotel which was amazing! Beforehand, the owner took us in his car to go and see it as it started walking in the village:) it was a very nice stay:) amazing location for rhino :)
Amazing owners that go above and beyond to make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible. Great location in a beautiful remote village with such an awesome walking jungle safari.
Owner and staff were really helpful and made sure that I got everything I needed. Also helped with booking my jungle walking tour and canoe where I saw a tiger! You can borrow a bicycle to ride around as well which is nice in that village area. WIFI was working good too. They dropped me off everywhere as it’s located outside town, super helpful! The food is good,you can hire motorbikes or bicicles also. And the owner is so friendly and honest
The Lodge was as expected being in a forest village area. The lodge was simple as in a rural village. The host family was really good in terms of immediately providing attention and for meals.
The tour safari was good having been able to see spotted deer, rhinos, crocodiles and a variety of birds.
Beautiful surroundings, beautiful house and a beautiful family who couldn’t do enough for us! The hosts took us on a safari which was outstanding. Absolutely don’t be put off by the fact this properly is away from the centre of Chitwan - we trekked to a a secret waterfall, had the most beautiful private safari and explored the local village, away from tourists. Our best place yet to visit! Thank you so for all your warmth, guidance, care, exceptional knowledge of the area/animals and hospitality too - we will be back!
Amazing owner, with an equally amazing family, running this quaint place. Nice homemade meals, great walking safari and tour around the village. Helped with transport to Kathmandu.
Great place to stay and visit the chitwan national park as well other activities such as village tour and boating. For anyone wanting an authentic experience in chitwan this is the place to go. Rooms are basic but the hospitality and food was amazing. Highly recommend.
The Lodge is surrounded by nature and the village is lovely, full of friendly people.
The Staff is awesome and also really helpful.
