The dinner she served was a gastronomical extravaganza! For me it was the best meal I had during our 2 week visit to Norway. All the salads and relishes were prepared with farm fresh ingredients and to my surprise, were raw. The salmon entre' was cooked perfectly. Hege Kirsten is a very accomplished cook and has put care, thought and research into her meals. We also enjoyed excellent conversation on a range of topics.

New and modern building with amazing view everything was clean and the staff was very nice great value for money in fact I would say for what you are getting is very cheap compared to other places in Norway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Located in a quiet village away from the Disneyland atmosphere of Geiranger itself, this gem was a cosy retreat. The staff were particularly exceptional and the breakfast was great. Do yourself a favour and enquire about the three course dinner menu in the evening.
This place is so cozy and has amazing pillows, blankets, beds. The setting is also so stunning. We had opted to stay in Norddal instead of Valldal because it was more affordable- but then we’re happy to discover that it was the sweetest little village.
