A challenging climb up a steep hill, but benefitting from great views. Pleasant staff. Good sized room with en suite. Comfy beds. Easy parking. Good breakfast with great early start option. A remote location, there is a small restaurant in the village at the bottom of the access hill that serves an excellent evening meal. As a hostel more than met expectation.
AMAZING place to stay! Direct on the Fjord , perfectly quiet and clean, and the camp ground is also so quiet and clean. Would absolutely stay here again . There's also a lot of hiking opportunities in the area as well as a lovely walk into the village that has a good pizza place and a bakery.
We had a perfect stay in the guesthouse. The rooms are spacious, and the Thai food in the local restaurant is fantastic. The staff was exceptionally helpful, they gave us recommendations and even helped us get back to the guesthouse when we were stranded some villages away due to an avalanche. We highly recommend a stay here.
Stayed in a separately located apartment by the village quay. Very convenient central location with great view of the fjord and easy access to a variety of nature walks, very spacious accommodation with 2 bedrooms, and excellent facilities including fully equipped kitchen.
