It is a beautiful cabin on a farm, with a well kitted kitchen, and a comfy bed. I am rather tall and thought that it would be a problem because the bed is kind of like a bunk bed, but it was just right.
The location is breathtaking and satisfied our need to disconnect from the city life, but is also a great place to explore. By car, Bergen is just over an hour away and Voss is 45 minutes away. I would highly recommend a car, as the train station is quite a bit of distance from the farm.
Also the host is very nice and showed us the old farm house that dates back a long time.

Place is clean and beds are comfortable. Best of all, the host, Bridget, is knowledgeable, welcoming and a fantastic cook. Dinner is delicious with the salmon beautifully done and breakfast is generous with freshly baked homemade bread.
To those who want to know more about the Norwegian way of life, this place is definitely a very good option for an overnight stay in stead of Bergen and Voss. The house is easily accessible by public transport.

Amazing location - very remote. Surrounded by rivers and waterfalls. Quite an adventure. The cabin was spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and well equipped.

We stayed at this hotel twice a week ago and when we first came the receptionist made us feel very welcome. This hotel is beautiful and was very decorated with historical objects that caught our attention. The rooms were comfortable and nice, the beds were comfy and the bathrooms spotless. We also celebrated my son's birthday at the hotel and they surprised us with a cake, candles and even a present, to celebrate! 😃, it was a very nice gesture ☺️. Overall it is a hotel that l would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and historical stay. The hotel really did feel like a museum! We would definitely go back.

The cabin is very nice, minimalistic modern, and comfortable for a bigger group of people. It is a quiet place with amazing views of the Fjords from a large terrace. We have decided to spend our Xmas and NY there and it was finally a Xmas complimented with a lot of snow. Also, I need to mention the sleep we experienced there! We have never slept for so long:) The owner was super nice and was communicating during the whole stay, helping us with all our needs and wishes. A place I want to visit in summer too!
