We really enjoyed our stay in the tent of Flatheim, comfortable bed and warm bed. The diner was delicious and it was served in the beautiful Heritage traditional House. The breakfast was very good with fresh eggs from the farm. The owner told us about the interesting history of his family Heritage house. We recommend the Flatheim Glamping.

Charming hotel in great location in Balestrand. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Short walk to harbor, ferry stop, dining and shopping, Balestrand is wonderful village with incredible scenery. Excellent breakfast buffet.

This is one of the best property we have stayed with our travelling. The property was big, more than enough for us but I knew this and since it's very reasonable with the view of the fjord and few minutes walk to the ferry pier. The host provided all amenities you could think of and more so it was like home away from home...thank you. Balestrand is a beautiful village and with exceptional accomodations we enjoyed this place tremendously. We were lucky with beautiful weather and light intermitten rains.
Superb views of the Fjorde and Mountains . This beautiful village is steeped in history and cultural experiences.
The hallways and lobbies are decorated with beautiful local photos taken throughout the year which clearly depicts the change of seasons and the beauty of nature .

This is old hotel in the beautiful village on sognFjord, run by family. Excellent breakfast with salmon, shrimp, and local specialities (special cheese !!!). Just ask for your toast, or any item not visible on the table. Hotel lobby is a transformed family house with pictures of famouse Norwegian turn of century painters hanging on the walls. This is like sitting on the sofa in the Art Gallery. Walking distance to see (beautiful view from breakfast room), and to mountains (2-3 hours climb).
