The location is excellent. It is very close to the train station and to the village.
And the space works so well. This is one of the most comfortable BnB type places I've ever stayed in.
And I definitely recommend ordering the breakfast basket. It contains a delicious and generous, selection of fresh foods.
Shepherds House B&B, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Limmen, 30 km from Amsterdam Central Station, 32 km from Anne Frank House, as well as 32 km from Leidseplein.

This beautiful Shepherd's house built in 1844 is a very special B&B. It is filled with an interesting collection of antiques throughout connecting it to its wonderful past. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional every morning with fresh eggs from their own hens and beautiful home made marmalade. There was youghurt cheeses meats and an abundant selection of scrumptious breads which set you up for the days exploring. We hired bikes in nearby Castricum as it is a good walk away from the town. With the bikes we were able to explore the wonderful nature reserve and beautiful beaches. We also cycled to beautiful Alkmaar for a day which was well worth the cycle. There is a train station in Castricum also. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Shepherd's House B&B Would highly recommend it💞🥰

It had been 10 years for my girlfriend to visit the Netherlands. So I wanted some place special for her to adept and us to be together the first days. And oh my... it was special. Very nice located with all green around. Ducks and Swans around, beautiful surrounding with stunning statues and greek atmosphere. I was just great to walk around.
The inside was great, very cosy and a open fire in the middle. We loved it as well as the look and feel. Very nice and appreciated.

We just loved everything about this property! The bus stop is just outside the B&B - which made it really accessible! The B&B is literally in the heart of Haarlem, making walking around and exploring a pleasure! Then, the Breakfast is everything and more than anyone could ask for!
Ad & Esther are super hosts and we would not only recommend them to anyone, we would love to visit again!

The space was really well designed and very warm. We only stayed for two nights, but it would have been nice to stay longer. The location was also great, near to everything in the village.

Great location. Walking distance to the beach, the dunes and all restaurants in the village as well as the small supermarket for all daily needs.
The space is nicely refurbished with a personal touch thanks to Rositas photography. The patio behind the house is also a nice space for morning & afternoon coffees and kids to hang out.
Rosita is a very pleasant host who can give ample recommendation on what to do around Wijk.

The location was great Wijk Aan Zee is a lovely little village by the sea. The property had the Same vide and the areas. The breakfast was great and good value for money too.
Boutique, unique old villa in quiet town in the dunes. Exceptional staff. Wonderful restaurant. Spacious bedroom bathroom and balcony that yiu cannot get in a new build hotel. Top quality.
