The property is set in stunning countryside and offers secure parking for a motorbike (closed barn). The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fabulous and had a jacuzzi bath (very relaxing). Outside had a lovely seating area in which to enjoy the warm evenings.
The breakfast was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing and was FANTASTIC! The best continental breakfast I have had in a very long time.

It was so relaxing to be there. The room was nice and the bed was, for me, very good. Soft but not too soft. Gmthe room and bathroom were clean. The landlords were helpful and always with a smile.
The breakfast was incredible, the best I've ever eaten, I think. Eating it in the garden with the sheep in the background and the rising sun in the sky, can't ask for much more.

It was amazing! Best family weekend here. Pretty and quiet location. Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed? We were delighted to receive an upgrade to their new apartment which is absolutely beautiful . The attention to detail is extraordinary you will not be disappointed. The owners live on site and were welcoming and extremely friendly.
A lovely old property with friendly owners who are restoring it slowly. The spacious rooms are full of antiques. The breakfast was excellent. We could walk to the middle of Stadskanaal and drive to an interesting fortified medieval village named Bourtange.
