The location, food and of course our host Martijn was all great. Martijn is an incredible host and goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. The property has an old vibe and is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure come again in the future.

We had an incredible time at this hotel during our trip to the Netherlands! The hosts were absolutely wonderful, going out of their way to make us feel at home. They welcomed us with a delicious homemade almond pie and a complimentary bottle of wine. The house and rooms were gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and filled with charming interior details. First time being accommodated in Netherlands. Top notch accommodation, owners are helpful and really kind, place is almost too quiet :-).
Everything you need is just few kms away.
Rooms were super clean, quiet.
Kitchen was equipped up to par with home kitchen, if you're really into cooking. There were also free-range eggs from their own hen in a little basket, which was really kind :-).
I rarely rate accommodations with such high rating, but you really have to experience it!

This is one of the nicest B & B's we've had the pleasure to stay at in NL. Marcel is an attentive and generous host. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and many other beverages for us to enjoy, including beer, juices and soft drinks. He provides an amazing breakfast including coffee, fruit, breads, cheese and meat, cereals, juices - even an egg cooker. The bed is super comfortable, the room is airy and bright. We loved our private terrace overlooking a garden and pond. There is a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom is great - nice big shower with products for our use. it's in a quiet residential area, not far from Hoogeveen. Marcel made excellent restaurant suggestions. Overall, we are thrilled and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this charming little place. We hope to return. Dankjewel , Marcel!!

Good location for our needs. Lovely quiet quaint village. Staff friendly and pool was nice and welcoming after a hot day. Food was lovely in the restaurant too.
Excellent location for us to participate cyclocross race in Col du Wam. Nice, small village and quiet and pleasant neighbourhood. Room was spacious and the possibility to use the kitchen in the basement was great. Bed was comfortable and wide enough. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything we asked for. Ina even helped to laundry the muddy cycling clothes. You seldom meet such a lovely person.
