Hof Welzinge is a farmhouse in the countryside of Middelburg, situated next to a dairy farm with cows, horses and sheeps. We loved the view of the animals, the sound of the cows, and pastering sheeps around us. Our apartament was tastely renovated and comfortable with a well equipped and high quality kitchen.

It’s a really lovely old house in a great spot to explore Middelburg. The beds are really comfy and even though we were there in very hot weather they have air conditioning to keep you cool if needed. Delicious breakfasts and lovely staff. Highly recommend.

The location was unique and excellent! It literally used to be a place where people had to pay for entering the city, in the olden days. It was excellently changed into a small home. Most certainly recommend! We came to stay on Sunday 14th July. We arrived by bicycle so we misjudged the expected arrival time. It was no problem! Gerard was there to warmly greet us and showed us a nice safe spot in the garden where we could leave our bikes. He was very friendly and explained everything clearly and then showed us to our room. The room was delightful. Spacious, nicely decorated and with a view of the river, plus a balcony and possible to open it all and get a breeze through. Lovely private ensuite. The accommodation is well located. Very peaceful. After a great night's sleep, we awoke and went down to breakfast and there was a superb spread put on and Gerard and his dog, Skye, were there to chat about our upcoming day of cycling. So nice!

Clean and spacious appartement, with some equipments (coffee machine, dishwasher, cookware, board games, plaids...).
Nice countryside around (15 min walking from the sea) and charming villages to visit nearby (10-15 min driving).
Quiet place (except some noisy parties in the neighborhood during the week-end).
Bathroom is huge with a big bathtub and lot of storages.
