The owner was very friendly and the apartment very large. The house is located in a quiet location. We were particularly surprised by the sociable breakfast, which we had not expected. Although it was not a buffet, it was more than we could eat and the choice was enormous. There was also fresh fruit, which is no longer the standard even in larger houses and hotels. My family and I were very enthusiastic.

The room was lovely with modern conveniences and country charm as well. The comfort of the bed and the stillness if the location made it easy to sleep well and wake rested. We collected the keys from the restaurant to which the apartments belong. Very friendly host, showed us the property and explained everything to us. Very spacious and clean apartment, Lunch and dinner available in the restaurant next door and pick up snacks available at the snack bar next door. Adjacent of the train station with regular trains running to Winsum and Groningen which was very convenient for us since we walked the first 3 Pieterpad trajectories. A definite recommendation!

The location in a large separate room above in a horse riding hall is very special. You have a wonderful vieuw over the fields seeing the horses grasing. The place is silent and clean and if you want you are for yourself. A hiking way through the open space and the water is nearby. You can canou or- you can take a riding lesson by the very friendly and helpfully owner and teacher. By car Groningen is easy to reach. So you are deep in nature and close to the city. Be prepared that the nice bathroom is to reach going to an other barn.
The setting is wonderful. Pretty village, old mill, water etc. We were received by the owner and star cook of the restaurant on the ground floor.
