The whole experience was excellent. Kim and family are amazing hosts and couldn’t be more helpful. The paddle boards and kayaks were a win and used every day. Mike was a constant welcome companion to the girls. And the restaurant across the road Paal 7 is also excellent (and owned by Kim’s brother!). If you are traveling to Amsterdam, Keukenhof, or the airport this is the place for you! It is a short 10 minute drive to the tulip garden, 30 minutes to the train station to take you into the city, or 15 minute drive to the airport. It is conveniently located close to the main highway. Close to the airport but you would never know because the countryside is so very quiet. The beds are some of the most comfortable that I have slept in while living in Europe. So appreciated the use of the communal fridge to store our lunch supplies and the communal living area to visit with my family. The host was very helpful finding great places for dinner and information for parking garages close to Amsterdam. Delicious homemade bread every morning!
