The flat and especially the kitchen was well equipped and clean. The living/dining room was spacious and had a tasteful decoration. The view of the fields with cows exuded a cozy atmosphere. One can park the car easily a few metres from the entrance. Access to Amsterdam is reasonably quick.

Good location if you have a car only. Quite close to the station which has free parking and it's less than 20 min to Amsterdam by train. Very peaceful location.
We were welcomed by Marc to a pleasant self contained apartment with a fridge, stove top, toaster, kettle and an oven. Beautiful surroundings near a lake, and part of a lovely village with numerous restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. Easy driving distance to the Weesp train station with free parking. 4 stops until Amsterdam. From Centraal Station you can catch a bus to Volendam.
Charming windmill vacation home in a quiet farmland village. It all feels very magical. Very comfortable beds, great water pressure in the showers, well equipped kitchen with exception of only a few cooking utensils. It felt like you borrowed your aunt's cabin for the weekend. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. The local grocery store (cash or EU debit cards only) has everything you need.
Hosts. Attention to detail eg welcoming board for our family. All kitchenware you'd need. Location is great. Rob could also advise on travel to Amsterdam, book bikes in the village. It was a perfect short holiday. The cabin is very pleasant with a little glass boathouse for a swim or morning coffee, whatever rocks your boat.
The windmill is a very special property in a beautiful natural environment at the edge of a lake and a lovely small village. It doesn't get more Dutch than this. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, romantic fireplace. We'd love to come back!
