We liked everything about our stay here. Our host was warm and friendly and very responsive to our questions. She immediately made us feel welcome. The room was lovely with modern conveniences and country charm as well. The comfort of the bed and the stillness if the location made it easy to sleep well and wake rested. Breakfast was delicious and is highly recommended consisting as it did of a tray loaded with amazing, delicious, home made, farm fresh breakfast goodies served to our room at a time we specified. I want her bread recipe!

The location in a large separate room above in a horse riding hall is very special. You have a wonderful vieuw over the fields seeing the horses grasing. The place is silent and clean and if you want you are for yourself. A hiking way through the open space and the water is nearby. You can canou or- you can take a riding lesson by the very friendly and helpfully owner and teacher. By car Groningen is easy to reach. So you are deep in nature and close to the city. Be prepared that the nice bathroom is to reach going to an other barn.

We collected the keys from the restaurant to which the apartments belong. Very friendly host, showed us the property and explained everything to us. Very spacious and clean apartment, Lunch and dinner available in the restaurant next door and pick up snacks available at the snack bar next door. Adjacent of the train station with regular trains running to Winsum and Groningen which was very convenient for us since we walked the first 3 Pieterpad trajectories. A definite recommendation!
