The area was very nice, close to a lake, bike rental (25 eur for 2 persons)and bus station (buses to Amsterdam work all day long until around midnight and they come very often) We biked to Monnickendam and Volendam which we 100% recommend while being around Amsterdam. Broeke in waterland is also worth biking around. We left our bikes in the front yard. The host was very nice

Amazing location, outside the city noise but just close enough to make a trip to Amsterdam and easy inexpensive Uber ride.
