The property was set in a peaceful rural location, which was just what we were looking for. The property is a large old farmhouse and it is a bit of a rabbit warren, with rooms going off from other rooms - it was very quirky. It was clean and comfortable, and was well equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our very short stay and would not hesitate to return

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming old house nestled in the countryside with my family. The home itself exudes character, with its rustic charm and timeless beauty, offering a perfect blend of history and comfort.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was just perfect for my stay. The house was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. We were a little bit worrried about shared bathroom but the cleanliness of it made it not really big thing at all.
For anyone who loves nature this is the right place to visit! You will be surrounded with beautiful country scenery, incredible silence and natural beauty.

Everything was top notch. We arrived very late (22.45) but were still received by a very friendly host. We only stayed for the night and had to move on the next morning. But we would have enjoyed the two bedroom flat with a bath tub 😄
An exceptional historic timber framed hotel, great food and ambience. No 5 star gym or pool .....just interesting medieval history, located in the most beautiful village, clean rooms and very helpful staff! Will be visiting again.
