The House on the Flakkee is really a home away from home. Nice and quiet with all the essentials. We only stayed a short weekend, however will be coming back for the deep bath, convenient location to Bruinisse beach and spacious garden. Enjoying the last rays of sun in the back garden was also exceptionally fun for our 1yo who waggled barefoot on the fake (and therefore clean) grass and the play tractor. It was too warm to turn on the fireplace, but we might be back for Christmas or in the colder months to enjoy a nice beverage in front of it after a beach walk. There is a coop in the town but 10 minutes drive out you can find a huge Jumbo with multiple other (drug)stores. The place is perfect for 2 couples + 2/3 kids, we didn’t use the bunkbed room but the hosts had a babybed prepared for our baby. Plus points for the washer and dryer available, we got rained on/could drive home with fresh clothing after 2 beach days. Very convenient and accommodating and jolly hosts.
