Located in Tisselday,100 metres from the Kasbah of Tisselday, Dar Isselday was built in 1948 and renovated with local materials from the Yakoubi family. You can relax on the rooftop terrace and admire the view of the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 1500 metres. With a traditional, Berber décor, it also offers a patio.

Very cosy and lovely place with family atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. We can only recommend to stop on the way from Marrakesh to the Sahara there to enjoy the people, the place and the landscape.

Dinner was good, wine a bit expensive but where's the alternative ! Other guests were interesting too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located between Warzazate and Marrakech, a good base for visiting Telouet etc.

The owner has been extremely kind with us, he basically opened the place only for us, because we were the only guests. He also cooked one of the best tajine we had in Morocco for a very cheap price. The place is on the road, but it is very nice and fresh even in deep summer.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. Our hosts gave us mint tea and bowls of nuts on arrival which was wonderful after driving for a few hours. Dinner was so good and plentiful. Our room was nice and cool to sleep in. Breakfast in the morning was a great variety of food. Both meals we were given to much. We had nice conversations with our hosts and were given some good suggestions about things to see on our journey.
Taourirt (Near Tisselday)
Located a 30-minute drive from Ouarzazate, this Berber-style guesthouse offers a terrace with views of the surrounding desert and serves traditional Moroccan food. Ksar Ait-Ben-Haddou fortified village is located a 20-minute drive away.

The breakfast was great! Outstanding eggs and pancakes, delicious honey and amlou, plus fresh orange juice, mint tea, apricot jam, butter, bread, and coffee. One of the best breakfasts ever in Morocco! The hosts are super friendly and thoughtful. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The building is charming, with a lovely atrium and terrace overlooking the valley. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet. We needed heat and it was lovely and warm.
