We absolutely loved our stay at Palitha Homestay. The hosts were very friendly, they were extremely helpful with great recommendations for things to do in the area and organised drivers/tuk tuks for us whenever we needed them. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and were served in a lovely covered over patio area. The room was very spacious and clean with good AirCondition!

The staff made our stay so enjoyable. They were so welcoming offering us tea on arrival. The main host spoke very good English and gave us lots of tips on the area. They provided us a delicious Sri lanken breakfast and dinner (actually the best Sri lanken food we’ve had). We loved our little house and our stay was very good value for money! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We stayed at Sithi’s place for two nights. He is truly an amazing host. Sithi helped us plan our days in Sigiriya, both in terms of activities and transport. He also arranged a pick up in Kandy and dropped us off at our next stay in Trincomalee. His wife Malsha made us delicious breakfasts, probably the best we had during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka.
The room is very cozy and clean, and so was the bathroom. The room overlooks a small garden, where you can hear birds sing in the morning and spot an iguana walking past. The house is walking distance to the main road in Sigiriya where restaurants and bars are. Would highly recommend it!

What a beautiful homestay! We loved our hosts, the room was so spacious, with a lovely outside terrace and totally spotless. We were greeted with big smiles and a welcome drink. Breakfast was delicious and huge. Calm, peaceful environment. So close to the amazing cave temple and golden Buddha. Our host spent so much time giving us lots of helpful information and even walked us to the bus stop to help catch the right bus to Kandy. Dinner is also available upon request. I would highly recommend SA Village. What a lovely place to stay…we really enjoyed it and would happily stay again!

Very nice staff, we were there early so they kept our luggage and it was waiting in our room when we came back. Sigiriya can be busy but the place is a bit off the road so it is super quiet. The room is confortable, good quality/price!
