This is such a great spot, a hidden tropical treasure. Very close to the airport yet right on the river. Great food, lovely pool, very friendly host family. We stayed here at the end of our busy travels round Sri Lanka and it was a A perfect place to unwind, catch our breath before embarking on our journey home. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I really enjoyed my stay at the villa! The location was perfect, close to excellent restaurants and shops. The villa itself was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and a cozy bed. Everything was spotless upon arrival, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It felt very private, which was exactly what we were looking for. Overall, I felt it was excellent value for the money, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Really nice new house, everything is clean. Feels like a private villa. The owner, Nelson, is very nice, speaks fluent English, and can drive you from the airport anytime. The housekeeper Basil is also nice and makes good sri lankan or Western breakfast. 20 minutes drive from airport and 40 min from colombo.
The place was far better than we expected! After a taxi through the back roads of JAL-Ela we made it to LUSH Ayu Villa. It was like entering an oasis. The breakfast was amazing. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly as a stopover prior to departure or after a long trip as a springboard to the rest of Sri Lanka!
A beautiful villa in a quiet location close to the airport but also close to the lagoon and the amazing wildlife there.
Sudesh looked after all our needs and got up early to take us to the airport in his tuk tuk.
The villa was beautiful and our hosts were very welcoming. They shared local tours, offered dinner for an additional fee and booked for us to have a student yoga instructor do a private class with us. A lovely fruit platter was offered to us afterwards which was a much appreciated gesture. This was a perfect way to end our trip and was conveniently located 20mins from the international airport and a short 10min walk from Jai-Ela (supermarkets, restaurants, cash points). Very good value for money.
Beautiful villa, well thought out and a stunning space. Lacking in furnishings in outdoor spaces such as upstairs terrace limits enjoyment of it. Very attentive despite language barrier, clearly very keen to assist!
This was our last accomodation in our Sri Lanka trip and we were looking for a nice place to spend the night before heading to the airport the next morning. A very contradicting experience was ahead.
We found an extraordinary villa, the design and the decoration are impeccable and the food served, although expensive, was delicious.
We were in contact with the manager to let them know in advance of any requests and they seemed very eager to accommodate us

Nice comfortable accommodation close to the airport, ideal for a stay before or after a long flight. It is a small facility with just three villas, very quiet and overlooking the beach. You take the optional meals outside your villa. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The home cooking was superb, with a good selection of dishes to choose from.
