It's a very authentic Japanese House with multiple rooms and a pretty garden outside. There is a lot to explore in and around the house. If you follow the river to the sea there will be very beautiful beaches where you can easily dip your toes into the clear Sea of Japan. There are also some other interesting spots to walk through.
We actually wanted to visit Conan-Town/Conan-Street which is why we picked this beautiful property.
The owner was so nice and cute she even brought us to the beginning of Conan-Street. On Check-In we walked from Kurayoshi Station which took 40 minutes. On check-out the outside temperature hit almost 30°C and she insisted on giving us a lift to the Train-Station because we got her worried after we said we wanted to walk back to the station.
All in all a solid recommendation if you want to experience an authentic Japanese House with Tatami-Mats and Shoji-Doors.
There is a Supermarket right across the street which opens at 9am and closes at 10pm. You can get everything you need for a short stay there (that includes a huge variety of Bentos and other Deli food).

The hosts were very lovely and welcoming, providing an annotated map of notable spots around town.
Accommodation is very spacious for a single traveller. Lots of Detective Conan goods displayed as well as the hosts' handmade washi/cloth lamps. Rooms and facilities clean and well maintained.
Location is convenient as Detective Conan tourist spots, convenience store and dining options are all accessible by foot.
Hosts went above and beyond with their service, including a free optional tea class with sensei as well as transport back to the station at the end of the stay. Thank you for the sweet potatoes for the trip back!
