Quiet rural setting… we loved the tranquility. The views of the coast was spectacular & waking to birdsong is such a luxury. We explored beaches on Kouri & Ojima islands, both accessible by bridges. Nature in these parts had a rawness about it - no boardwalks or sunshades, but lush forests, cicada chirps & fish swimming free with you. Our stay here was flanked by visits to Naha & Tokyo- a wonderful contrast. You’ll need a car to get to Stay Hotel.

very spacious and clean and well stocked if you plan to stay in and cook! had enough parking space for 2 cars and the view was very good. there was a welcome drink and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. they also provided rubber duckies and toiletries for the infant to play with and baby bath soap! drip coffee maker provided. very comfortable stay. unfortunately couldn’t see any stars due to cloud cover.
check in was easy and staff could speak English. check out was even easier.
found a few millipede in the toilet in the morning but it wasn’t so bad. the hotel booklet warned of more insects.
