The rooms were nice and clean and the kitchen facilities were well maintained and modern especially for a hostel. There was also a nice social atmosphere when I stayed and the bar downstairs was an added bonus. Overall I enjoyed my stay very much.

The kaiseki dinner is very nice. Breakfast spread was good and varied.
The onsen facilities in ryokan is very good, especially the open air bath area. The sand bath option is unusual, and the foot bath avail is nice too.
Even as the staff mostly cannot speak english well, they were very helpful and assisted to their best efforts. The shop in lobby level is interesting with things to purchase.

Everything. Home away from home. The Villa had high quality appliances. Bedding was very comfortable, linens clean. Open plan living worked well with a family of 4. Toiletries were abundant and of good quality.
The owner and his wife were very hospitable.
We accidentally switched off the water heater. After a long day out, we didnt have hot water. I sent a message to the owner and within 5 minutes he was at our door.

Stayed here for one night with my family and we absolutely loved it! We wished we had a longer time in the villa because it was so cosy and tastefully put together. The place was really clean and everything we could have wanted for our vacation stay!
