An entire apartment for myself with a reasonable price. I really liked the privacy it gave me. The train station and a supermarket are right next to it. The neighborhood is very nice for taking a leisurely walk.

Cultural preservation neighborhood. A lovely guesthouse. 2nd time, both times I stayed 3 nights. Run by a wonderful very experienced host. She connected me with many great cultural experiences including transportation details. I can't read Japanese so her translation to English smooths my travel in the area and beyond. And the futons are luxuriously thick. I sleep deeply there. I highly recommend.

Beautiful beautiful home. Peter and Masami were phenomenal and considerate hosts. Peter was kind enough to explain everything about the historical significance of the amazing home. Everything about it felt so hospitable and well taken care of. The gardens really made the house more of an experience and the peacefulness felt us in awe of such an incredible city. Pazu is the sweetest and I miss him everyday!

This is a lovely house in a great location. You can walk to the grocery store, the train station, many children's parks, and the wonderful trail around the lake. The house is cute and clean, has a wonderful kitchen, and it even has a dishwasher! There are plenty of pillows. The clothes dryer was not working so they bought a new clothes bar for us to use right away! That was so nice of them. You can tell that the hosts care about their guests.
