This was a lovely apartment with all the amenities and a strong life saving AC that helped us survive the Naoshima heat.
The location is great, conveniently located just outside the city bus stop and opposite one of the best (if not THE best) Okonomiyaki places we’ve ever been in Japan.

Naoshima is such a special place and we loved our stay at ocean view! A beautiful sea view where you can take a dip to cool off, and only. 15 minute walk to the town / port. A very kind host who made our stay even better and offered lifts to and from the port with our bags. We would recommend!

Very clean basic stay on a beautiful island. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Washing machine was a bonus. Busstop next door. In the Village are no shops so you need to do some planning for breakfast. Two very good restaurants close by. Bikes available with the apartment.
The property was lovely, well-kept, and comfortable. Our room was spacious-yet-cozy and ideal for our family of four. Johnny went above and beyond, giving us great information about the island and even giving us a lift to the Chichu museum when we were cutting it close to our reservation time. Bamboo Village’s proximity to the Chichu, Ando, and Art House Project was exceptionally convenient. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.
The hosts were really great and met us at the ferry to take our luggage back to the house. This allowed us to rent bicycles right away at the port and start our exploration of the island. The house itself is in a quiet fishing village close to the beach and yellow pumpkin. It felt like a home out of time with the added bonus of contemporary art books. The hosts also gave us great dinner recommendations which we greatly appreciated!
Nice stay, a surprise and staff clearly the best, really clean, with rent bicycles, the breakfast altough is not in the hotel, it is in the village center, is really good.
This seaside guesthouse is perfectly located on the small harbour of the 3rd village of the island of Naoshima. It is some 20 min. walking from the northern ferry harbour and some 10 min. by bus from the southern harbour.
We had a nice room with seaview, with a shared living room/pantry and a shared bathroom. The host was very friendly and the complementary bicycles were free to use.
Accommodation in a traditional Japanese house
Amazing hosts who don't see such generosity and concern for guests in any holiday home. They made sure to pick us up with a taxi from the ferry port and at the end of our stay, they o drop us off at the port with their private car. The location is near the sea and you can easily walk to the beautiful Naoshima museums.
Great value for money, you get a holiday house with everything you might need, including a washing machine. The village is small so the location is as central as could be. Comfortable beds.
