We had the special guest room - wonderful view on the sea, the Tori and the mountains, lot of natural light & space, a bathtub in the room to take a hot bath (in addition to the private 30mn per room at the outdoor bath). Japanese dîner was delicious, the staff very professionnal, attentionate and caring all along our stay. The hôtel made sure to look for our luggages - either to collect them for us at the ferry pier when we arrived and to bring them back at the pier when taking our ferry to leave the Island - allowing us not to have to carry them and enjoy the walk and our day in the Island

The location was excellent close to the attractions, shops and places to eat, the owner was very friendly and helpful she lives in the house upstairs in front of the accommodation so she is always there if you need help, but she doesn’t invade your privacy. The house where we stayed was roomy and comfortable. It was good we had fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was a great size and the bath was great after a long day of hiking.

Whats not to like about this place. You have the entire place ro yourself, it's incredibly traditional in its style, the beds were very comfortable and the location whilst a small walk from the ferry terminal at Miyujima is awesome. Oh the breakfast was superb too, a mix of simplicity and tradition and a brilliant host too

To stay at this hotel has been an excellent Japanese experience, from the delicious food served at dinner and breakfast to the spacious and super clean rooms with tatami beds and beautiful views of the beach.
Unbeatable location in front of the sea on a very quiet area. A 2 minutes drive with the hotel shuttle to the village. And the hotel shuttle is available all day.

The holiday home was a wonderful experience of traditional life in Japan. It was warm and had its own kitchenette. The bathroom was very unique. The host was very kind and we really enjoyed our stay. It had great common areas and delicious meals supplied. We also enjoyed the cultural activity in the evening.
A large villa in a quiet location only a few minutes away from the main shopping street. It is big enough for a family with good amenities. We were hosted by a lovely and witty lady who made us laugh. They provided plenty of tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol and snacks for free. Dunking in an outdoor onsen was a bonus at the end of the day.
The house is a very traditional Japanese one. So if thats what your looking for the Holiday Home is for you. It is clean. The futons are comfortable and the bathroom is modern and clean as well.
Excellent host, helpful & knowledgable. Great experience staying in a large Japanese villa with tatami rooms. Half-board with breakfast & dinner included. Even has 2 private onsens for guest to use. Highly recommended.
