The hotel is located in a very calm and peaceful part of Nikko, just next to a river. I fell asleep and woke up listening to the sound of water, I just love it. In addition, the hotel has an onsen and it was amazing after a long hiking day!!! All the staff are great and friendly. I got traditional Japanese room, which made my stay even more special.

The manager - a kind and discrete old japanese man who sleeps in a room downstairs - receptioned us with soft drinks and showed us the house facilities and a map of the neighborhood. We loved the whole experience and we certainly want to come back one day.
