The house was a traditional home adapted for hosting travel. Kuroda san didn't spare any time for helping understand anything and was ver accommodating to my questions. The rooms and everything are neatly cleaned everyday.

The property is in a nice quiet part of Kyoto but still within easy reach of public transport making it easy to get around to all the main attractions. My family also really enjoyed using the available bicycles to do a bit of sightseeing which I highly recommend. Finally, our host was fantastic. He was very friendly always prompt with replies,

From the cleanliness, to the space, to the decor, everything exceeded our expectations. The value for the price was incredible - I definitely want to return! The hosts had already laid out the right number of futon beds when we arrived, so it was a perfect end to our day.

The hosts of this property were simply wonderful. They were both so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped us locate local restaurants, and gave us such an at-home experience. There was a nice offering of food in the morning including rolls, ramen, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juices. It was just what we needed to get our day started. The house is impeccably clean and perfectly laid out with every little detail thought through.
