By far, this place was the newest and most spacious accommodation I’ve stayed at in Japan. The room was immaculate, well-designed, and stocked with everything you’d need—plenty of amenity kits, bottled water, and even mentaiko welcome snacks, which was a nice local touch. Checking in was a bit confusing, as I initially went to another Sya accommodation by mistake, but the staff responded within 30 minutes to help me get sorted out. The location is in a quieter part of Hakata, around a 15-minute walk from the hustle and bustle, which I appreciated. Plus, it’s easy to get around since buses are conveniently located nearby, and the Gion subway station is close. The direct access from Gion to Chikuzen-Maebaru station made trips to places like Itoshima a breeze. All in all, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped, and peaceful base in Fukuoka!

We were travelling in a big family group and it was great to have a space for us all to share. It’s a comfortable walk from the station, and the house is clean, spacious and has everything you need!
