Villa Princi is a villa which may have formerly belonged (and still does) to a noble family in southern Italy. We were upgraded to a suite and our jaws dropped from the beautiful bathroom and breathtaking view of the sea between Villa San Giovanni and Messina. We requested and the proprietor made 2 delicious omlettes for us. We felt that the proprietor has under-valued her excellent villa and could have charged more but we're not complaining !

From the terrace you can see the Strait of Messina and the coast of Sicily. Close to a large Supermarket for groceries, close to the train station, restaurants and close to the ferry docks. This is a cute little house with a railroad-style set-up. The main room is a kitchen, living, dining, and bedroom (sofa) all in one, followed by a bedroom and a bathroom. You have to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. There are quite a lot of mosquitos, and no spray or traps. It is right on the main street and there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. The host was nice and helpful. It is a distance from the beach, and we had a car which you would need to get to anything.
