The panoramic view of Mount Etna from the balcony was incredible. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We loved how there were three different balconies so there was always a sunny spot outdoors. the washing machine and kitchen facilities were really useful. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful - we were so touched when they gave our children big chocolate Easter eggs.

Great view over the whole valley and towards the sea, beautiful scenery with Etna on the side. Recommended if one wants to explore the east coast of Sicily, Taormina and Syracusa within reach of you rent a car. Located in a very calm spacious mansion, secured parking inside, infinity swimming pool, super cosy atmosphere in the entire garden. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Fresh fruits (often from the garden), good Italian coffee and pastries for breakfast.

The host, Stefania, was very kind, helpful, and responsive. Our trip to Sicily coincided with a fire at Catania Airport, which led to various schedule changes. But Stefania was flexible with the check-in time and offered us plenty of recommendations regarding where to shop, where to eat, and what to see. The location is superb, away from the hustle and bustle of Catania and close to other points of interest such as Mt. Etna or Taormina. It's clear to see a lot of passion has been put into making Frasteva a top of the line resort. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again in the future! Villa Etelka is a 17-th century building with garden and small swimming pool. It is set on the hills of Valverde, 5 km from Aci Castello and 10 km from Catania. Most rooms feature a balcony with views of Riviera dei Ciclopi in the distance.
