The location is a bit of a challenge for "out of towners" but the GPS was excellent, and we had no trouble finding the place. The food, both Breakfast and Dinner were superb. To be honest the experience was fantastic for South Africans.

The dogs, but the owner does not inform you about them before hand and if you are allergic or don't like dogs, it's probably a bad thing.
What stands out at Villa Gerini are the staff. They went above and beyond at every turn and were brilliant when it came to communication. Wonderful location, near the Mugello Circuit, the views across Tuscany were superb and Villa and gardens had that luxury feel. Would definitely book again. Thank you very much for looking after us.
We came toward the end of the summer season and enjoyed warm days in quietness as the other apartments were mostly empty. The podere village is lovely from all angles and the paroramic view is exceptional. We enjoyed hiking in the surrounding woods and mountains. Owner Renato was pleased to show us around and kindly gave outing suggestions. The podere's own products such as olive oil, wine and grappa are worth a try!
