It is the best place for a stay in Salento. Very well located - in the middle of the region, for a day visits: lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, santa Maria de Leuca, all in less than 1hour driving.
The bedroom is stunning and very good size - they enter everyday to make the bed and clean the bathroom. Towels changed every 3 nights.
Plenty of space to park inside, and a very relaxing green garden in front of each bedroom - so you can enjoy relaxing there with your table and chairs.
And what to say about the breakfast, different sweet cakes home made everyday, using local products. There is as well focaccia, cheese and boiled eggs for those who prefer a savory breakfast. Coffee and tea excellent.
Definitely we would come back to this place.

B&B Monelli was absolutely amazing. It is located in a very cute village where you find lots of nice food(make sure you visit the pizzeria of the village which is delicious) and close to bigger cities and there are stunning beaches within a short drive. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is very nice too. The breakfast is amazing especially Almerinda’s cake which is clearly the best. All the staff is very kind and friendly and always ready to please you. A special mention to Silvia who was always asking about our whereabouts and gave super good advice of what to see in the area. She even helped us to sort out one of our orders because our Italian wasn’t the best.
There is also a great parking outside with a roof and it’s very convenient.
Everything about B&B Monelli is perfect. We cannot wait to come back!

The comfiest bed of our travels and the room had a shutter which made it nice and dark. Beautiful terrace with view of ocean and old town. Fantastic breakfast right on the water and most of all Giorgia was the best host!

I like everything about this place! It’s in a historical building but the host designed the place so well in a great style. The inside of the room is very new and clean which makes your stay perfectly. The bed and pillows are super comfortable and with high quality - it’s a 5-star hotel standards. We really hope we could stay longer but we already had a plan to travel further down.

It was an apartment so bought our own breakfast from bakery nearby. Good coffee sachets. Lovely big balcony. Near the centre so easy to walk. Paid 10 euros per night to park there. Nice to have bottles of water there.

The building is beautiful, and the rooms were huge. our room had a separate sitting room. the village is very sweet with some restaurants and cafes. it’s a 10min drive to the beach. the breakfast was great offering g lots of choice (sweet and savoury). the staff were lovely.
