The room was small but very cosy and opens to a terrace with a large table and comfortable chairs. The house is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with nicely trimmed trees and bushes (fig, pomegranate etc.). Our hostess, Elena was really kind, attentive and always available. Although we stayed only for one day, we had a great time in Sistiana.

Everything was perfect. It's a nice house in a lovely little Italian village. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The host, Goran, creates a welcoming atmosphere and is outstandingly helpful, if you need anything in the house or any recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. The breakfast was also great, special requests were possible. If you are there via car, you can quickly reach the next big cities like Monfalcone and Trieste.

location was really nice as out of the busy seaside resort. Was a real small Italian / Slovenian village. we drove over for lunch and also explored the cost. little wineries near by was a great experience. owner was really top! he put in a lot of effort, spending time with us and making our experience and stay extra special! really recommend! thanks Goran!
Beautiful place in a small village. Room was clean. Breakfast was delicious and host was very friendly. He always gave us great advises about trips and places around. Near the house is a osmiza where you can taste local wine, cheese and other local products. We definitely recommend this place.
The property lies in a small and quiet village. The room we stayed in was beautiful, spacious and clean. The property also has a nice garden where you can sit and just enjoy listening to the bees doing their work :). The manager was super attentive, nice and very helpful when we needed advice on which beaches would be the best to visit. This place is great if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Excellent service, location, facilities, food and wine quality, and a very soothing swimming pool! We biked from the sea up to the mountains/forest to a beautiful location at the edge of a small village, Malchina. Had a relaxing rest, then explored the area trails, which skirt the Italy/Slovenia border. Had wine and dinner in the vinyard, as well as the included full breakfast the next morning. Very receptive staff.
Location was good, Malchina is a small Karst (Carso) village just inland of Sistiana, handy for Trieste and the beaches and for local sights. Room was good sized with a balcony, in a typical Karst house recently renovated.
