I loved this property. I walked the Via Francigena and it is far to walk to them and high up the hill. But when I checked in, I was upgraded and they offered to send a car to take me and my friends to their own restaurant outside of town. They brought us back again afterwards. Was wonderful.

He is relaxed and easy going. Breakfast at his local cafe/bar was fun- on the main piazza.
However, no toiletries-- so make sure you have some soap with you!

The views were amazing, the apartment was really spacious and well equipped. The pool was a bonus with our kids. Great base to see the smaller villages in Tuscany with siena and florence easy to access as well

All in all a great stay!
Quite in the middle of nowhere but still in a small village with multiple apartments. Neighbours were very nice! The pool was still quite cold but it was early May so not surprising! Gravel track leading to the property was fine as long as you take it slowly.
There’s a small spa in gambassi with a sauna, steam room, warmed bath and a warmed bath with waters from the geothermal springs. Well worth a visit!
This lovely property is in the middle of the village. I walked the Via Francigena and it’s important to find accommodation in town. Christiano was incredibly kind finding a room for me. He left work, walked me to the hotel and made sure I was safely booked in. As a 70 year old,solo female traveller, this act of kindness was priceless.
Perfect location to explore extraordinary Toscana villages. San Gimignano absolute MUST SEE. Very nice and kind hosts, a warm welcome. Nice location to enjoy in peacfull nature.
On the square of the village with even a kettle to make tea! The most comfortable bed in our trip, probably brand new. And a very helpful landlady who suggested a fantastic restaurant for dinner (Osteria Pinchiorba).
Beautiful Tuscan buildings with fantastic grounds and views over Tuscany. It is in a great location. San Gimignano about a 15 min drive. Kitchen is stocked with relatively basic equipment but enough to get by. Dim lighting in the house (Il Forno) but partially expected in such an old villa. Pool wasn’t open when we were there (15-25 April)
Overall a fantastic trip and a real feel of rural Tuscany. Highly recommend
