The guy at reception was extremely friendly and helpful.
There’s free public parking available on the street opposite the hotel, as well as paid, secure private parking (also on the street, uncovered).
The location is peaceful, with plenty of great restaurants nearby, and a Coop supermarket 7 minutes walk away.

Everything was absolutely lovely, it felt like a wedding venue that is how pretty it is. We loved the location, in the middle of the vineyards and with a beautiful view. You can reach Siena and Florence easily within 20-30 minutes by car. There is enough to do in the area such as wine tasting, restaurants, but just chilling by the pool for a day is also lovely. Nothing in the area is walking distance so a car is mandatory but there are great restaurants within 5-10 minutes. The hosts are so amazing as well with great tips for the area and parking. The room was cleaned daily and we even received cookies, new coffee and tea everyday and bread and toaster are also provided. We could not have wished for a better place. Although we are people who keep to themselves, we enjoyed the chats as well. We stayed the second week of September and it did rain quite a lot (unlucky!!) and was a bit chilly sometimes but we still enjoyed the room and the nearby cities a lot.

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed. Our hosts were simply marvellous and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and airconditilmed. The farmhouse is walking distance from the centre of Castellina with beautiful views and sunsets. It is well equipped and any requests which we had for additional equipment and fresh towels were dealt with immediately. There is a great pool with plenty of sun loungers and we were able to use the spa facilities at the Hotel too which was a real bonus at the end of our daily hikes.
