It's a very different experience staying here that everybody should experience. In the middle of the jungle with living root bridges, Blue waterfalls just like some magical land. Constantine and his wife the hosts were very helpful and caring. Rooms are basic but well maintained and very clean. The washroom is common but it's very clean. You get everything here veg/non veg.

It is very well maintained and a pretty homestay. Best part is the view of mountains from the terrace and also the it is located walking distance from the main market so you will get everything you need. Also people need to know that Cherrapunji is a village and you won’t get luxury here so don’t have high expectations but you will definitely get all the basic amenities and delicious food.
Nothing just the drive from Cherrapunji to this little village is scenic if you do it during the daytime. At night, it is pretty risky with such a narrow road
I had a nice stay near the village (close but not too close; I walked to town and met neighbors daily). I also met fellow travelers - and ventured with some.
I visited the caves and the double decker root bridge, yet also met many warm open friendly Khasi people (adults& kids) - even played football, 😊
Tyrna is a lovely village perfect place to wind down and find peace. Kept extending my stay because of how comfortable I felt there, very homely! Wesley was a great host very friendly and always helpful, took me walking to many beautiful forest paths when he had free time and shared lots of insights on Khasi history and culture. Good value tasty nighttime meal and basic breakfast provided. Facilities are not fancy but very well maintained and cleaned daily.
I had a bed in a separate room, it was nice enough. The owners are cool, the village is cozy, they have parking. What else would you want for that price?
Peaceful and great stay, away from the city chaos. Walked through the cloudy & misty streets of Nongrim village and enjoyed thoroughly in the rain.Ms. Akor was an amazing host. Thank you.
Kind and helpful staff who guided us sight seeing and made arrangements for that as well. Location is little remote yet so near to beautiful hill side villages and we can see panoramic view of bangladesh. Living root bridge can be reached quicker from here than the city centre hotels
