I chose Arad for part of my stay intentionally since I love this small city. It is rather quiet, easy to navigate, peaceful. When I saw the pictures of the Gamliel house, I knew I found the best place. The Judean desert view is stunning, the neighborhood is quiet, and all the pieces of art created by Itzik Gamliel, shared so generously with their guests, make the place a fairy tale, like living real a childhood dream. The hospitality of Yaffa and Itzik is just overwhelming.
The pool was fine. The villagr Ein Bokek is directly to the Dead Sea. BUT there are other hotels there too! It's better to choose another hotel in Ein Bokek.
